Psalm 38:11-13

¹¹ My ^[a](A)loved ones and my friends stand aloof from my plague;
And my kinsmen ^(B)stand afar off.
¹² Those who ^(C)search for my life ^(D)lay snares for me;
And those who ^(E)seek ^[b]to do me evil have ^[c]threatened destruction,
And they ^(F)meditate on deception all day long.

¹³ But I, like a deaf man, do not hear;
And I am like a ^(G)mute man who does not open his mouth.
